Today I speak with Frequency Specific Microcurrent pioneer Dr. Carolyn McMakin. She speaks about her decades of experience working to support her clients to heal with frequency. Among the many areas discussed, we talked about the power of using frequency to calm the vagus nerve and support the body to reduce stress and using frequency for concussions and other brain-related traumas.
Carolyn McMakin, MA, DC developed Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) in 1995 and began teaching it in 1997. She has a part-time practice treating chronic pain, does clinical research and teaches FSM seminars in the US and abroad. She has lectured at the National Institutes of Health and at conferences on fibromyalgia and chronic pain in the US, Australia, England, Kuwait, Taiwan and Germany. Her textbook, “Frequency Specific Microcurrent in Pain Management” was published by Elsevier in 2010.
